Look Who I Met

.
I remember a week or two ago reading a post by Desiree at The 36th Avenue about her meeting a local blogger.  I thought to myself — “Wouldn’t that be nice?”  Little did I know that my day was coming!
.
Earlier this week I registered for Bloggy Boot Camp with SITS Girls and was curious to see if I could find any other local bloggers that might be attending.  I went to twitter and put the following hash tags in:  #stl #bloggybootcamp.  Somehow I saw How to Nest for Less and, well, I put my networking cap on and went to work {giggle}.  Erin literally lives a couple of miles down the road from me! We even have mutual friends.  How stinking cool is that?  We met for dinner and chatted for over two hours about life, marriage, hobbies and blogging, of course! We’re officially new BFF’s.  I think we might be a blogging power house {holla}.  Stay tuned… you never know what might happen when two bloggers put their heads together!
.
Cheers again to new bloggy friends… especially those who live down the street!!

So lucky! Wish I could meet someone locally who also blogs. Although I have trouble even finding blogs from Australia, I think we are a bit slow to start here.

  2. Lauren says:

That is awesome! If I lived close to a fellow blogger, or ran into one I would squeal with excitement! There aren't a whole lot of Australia bloggers out there.
