Mirror, Mirror on the Guest Room Wall

Yesterday I shared my vintage thrifty find mirror makeover with all of you.
So, are you ready to see where I’ve decided to use it?

Let me first say that I am doing my darndest to add some color to different spaces throughout my home.  I think my style is very Pottery Barn-esque, which tends to be a lot of wood, browns and natural colors.  Our guest room is yellow (yes, I went way outside the box on this one awhile back), so it was a little difficult capturing the rooms actual color on camera, but I tried. Here is the room where I chose to use my fabulous new mirror.  The Guest Room.
What do you think of my yellow room?  It’s a much lighter and prettier yellow, I promise. The only way I can prove that to you is if you come and be my guest {wink}.  Lots of thrifty finds can be found in here.  This was my bedroom furniture set before I got married.  I absolutely {love} the mission style.  In the one corner, which you can’t see, is a vintage luggage rack from an old Bed and Breakfast.  I {love} it so.  It’s green,  and is yet another colorful addition to the room!   Overall, I thinks it’s a very eclectic room, which is why I thought the blue mirror might be a perfect fit.  Of course, I still have things I want to do in here, like stencil the curtains, buy a new bedspread, etc.

Anywho, enough about the room —  where to put the mirror???? {giggle}.  Believe it or not, there isn’t a mirror in here at this point, so above the dresser seemed appropriate.   Let’s see how it looks.

I think the mirror seemed to fit that space in the middle of the TV and decor quite perfectly. There you have it!  What do you think?? I obviously don’t stay in this room,
but as a potential guest — I hope you’d feel right at home.  Hugs!

I’ll be partying {hereherehere and here}.
