Do you like color?  How do you wear it?
Clothes? Jewelry? Shoes?  MAKEUP?

Revlon is conducting a Revlon Expression Experiment.  They are currently challenging women to try new makeup and see what happens.   Sounds like fun, right?  Well, that’s exactly what we’re going to do today!  I’m not afraid of color, but I have to be honest, so of these colors that I experimented with are a little outside my comfort zone — but I think they end results were fab. You’ll have to let me know what you think!

Let’s start with the Indigo Night nail polish! Wow!  What a pop of color… It looks fantastic.  I’d like to try this color on my toes too.  For those of you who like to do color blocking on your nails — this is one ‘hot’ color!

And then there’s the Certainly Red lipstick.  Ooh la la!  I {love} this RED!!

Let’s take a look at some of the different colors in eye shadow too!

Pictured:  Bombshell (left) and Inspired (right)
I started by applying the Revlon PhotoReady Eye Primer + Brightener.
I thought this product was amazing.  It went on silky smooth too!

Here we have the Inspired look.  The colors really make my eyes pop!
I’m loving the teal and lime green colors together!

Then I started from scratch to experiment with the Bombshell colors.
These colors were primarily grays with a pop of yellow.

I also put on some of the Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in Cherry Tart. Voila!

Do you think I met the challenge?  Did I express myself as an individual while experimenting with some new products and color?  Now it’s your turn to join the movement of self expression!  If you do decide to take the challenge, be sure to leave your link below.  I’d love to see what you come up with!

  2. You look lovely. I’m inspired to try the eye shadow and the blue nail polish. (I’m not sure I could pull off the blue polish, but I really like on you. :) )

    • You’re too sweet, Kimberly! Thanks so much :) The blue nail polish looked surprisingly better than I expected. Be sure to let me know how it goes if you do try any of these! Hugs.

  3. Love all the colours you have chosen, especially the blue nail polish!!

  4. I adore your freckles!! (I have them too) I keep looking at my tweens bottle of blue polish – you know what I may just paint my nails blue today!

    • Giggle. My freckles are much more noticeable in the summer :) I think they’re kinda fun. Girl, try that blue nail-polish and share a pic! Have a great day, Karen. Hugs!

GREAT Inspiration! Nice job on the eyeshadow! Very pretty. :)

  6. You look great! I have a kit of my own to blog about so it is exciting to see what someone else has done with all of the fun colors. I have to admit I’m a *bit* scared of the red lipstick, but seeing it on you gives me more confidence! :)
