Spring Fever or Spring Favor?

I think most of us are so ready for Spring.  It’s been an incredibly confusing winter for us — warm days then cold days then even warmer days. {sigh}  I love my winter, but this year it was rather pathetic, so bring on Spring.  I was recently inspired by a Martha Stewart tutorial someone pinned, so I headed off to the store to buy a few supplies; however, most of them I had on hand.  I think these would make great spring favors for a Spring gathering or a “Happy Spring” gift for a co-worker.  Wouldn’t you agree?

Supplies:  Springy Scrapbook Paper, Double Sided tape, mini cupcake liners, scissors and some candy. Jelly Beans are probably ideal, but these are egg shaped Sweet tart type candy.  A pleasant surprise upon taste-testing {giggle}.  You’ll want to free-hand the flower or use this template.  Once you have your template, trace and cut.  Apply a small piece of double sided tape to the bottom of the cupcake liners.

Place the cupcake liner in the center of your paper flower.

Then its time to add your candy, which I’m sure you’ll agree is thee yummiest part of this project, right?  Now, we’re ready to decorate a table, give to your kiddos, share with a friend or set a few on your coffee table.
